For me, it all started with a disposable camera — back when you had to drop film off at the store and wait a week to see the results. I received my very first digital camera on my 15th birthday and it changed everything. I documented my world one click at a time. I started with landscapes, little details, and the people I loved most.
Before long, my camera was telling the stories of families, graduating seniors, and small businesses. In 2010, I officially launched Lindsay Felty Photography and photographed my first wedding in Washington, D.C. Since then, my work has spanned everything from portraits to nonprofits, even earning publication in two magazines.
Along the way, I discovered my true passion lives in capturing love stories. It is so special to be trusted with documenting such a meaningful chapter in life. I love seeing the joy, the anticipation, and the once-in-a-lifetime moments and helping couples preserve the memories forever. Now, my favorite part is getting to do it all alongside my husband, Brad.

My path to becoming a videographer has been anything but ordinary. After 25 years serving in the Army, I retired from a career built on discipline, precision, and attention to detail. Life in the Army meant sacrifice — missing birthdays, holidays, school events, and countless moments with family. When I retired, I knew I wanted a life that gave me the freedom to set my own schedule and reclaim time with the people I love most. When Lindsay suggested we team up in the world of photography, I found myself drawn to video. I like the way sound, movement, and emotion captured on video add a depth to storytelling in a way that allows you to relive any moment.
As a videographer, I see every moment we capture as a living, breathing story unfolding in real time. My background gives me the ability to anticipate moments, stay calm under pressure, and ensure every detail is captured with care. What I love most is creating final videos that feel personal and genuine.
Working alongside Lindsay is my favorite part of the job. We’ve been married for 20 years, so we know how to seamlessly anticipate each other’s moves and cover every angle without missing a beat.
Life in the military can mean couples spend a lot of time apart. It did for us. Now, we have joined forces in business allowing us to do things we love together at work and during our free time.
When we aren’t behind the camera or piloting video drones, we enjoy spending time with our girls, going on family camping trips, and exploring new outdoor activities with our family and friends.
